Instructions for Authors

Abstract submission

Abstracts must be submitted through the submission system (click here). Abstract should include the name and affiliation of all authors, title, and a description of the work to be presented (in English, including aim, methods used, results and main conclusions).
The body of the abstract (excluding author names and affiliations) should be between minimum 150 words and maximum 300 words.

An example of an abstract is provided (click here). Abstracts that do not conform to this template, especially those that exceed the word limit, will be rejected. When possible, please indicate 2 among the 3 conference sessions areas in order to facilitate the assignment of the abstract.

Each registered participant can present only one poster or one oral presentation.

Authors should indicate their preference for:

For oral presentation - 10 minutes

For poster presentation - 3 minutes

NEW DEADLINE for abstract submission is 25 July 2021

EUVEN 2021 conference will be held virtually on Zoom, through a link that will be shared among all the registered participants: communications will be live events, as in a real congress.

Proof of status for students

When you submitt the abstract you will be asked to provide some proof of your Status.

Accepted Proofs of Status for students:

Student card scans / photos featuring an expiry date or have validity during the current academic year

Recently issued official university enrollment forms or certificates

Recently signed letters from academic departments on official headed paper


Certificates will be available for download directly on the website private area

The submission of an abstract indicates an understanding of the following rules for participation in EUVEN 2021

All author(s) approve submitting this work for presentation

The author(s) transfer(s) all copyright ownership of the named abstract to EUVEN 2021

At least one author should be available to present the abstract if selected for the EUVEN 2021

The authors will immediately notify the EUVEN 2021 if they are unable to attend or if the presenting author is changed
